Schovaná Kavárna

The name means Hidden Cafe, and it earns it, set below the tower of the Church of the Assumption and reached through a courtyard just off Zbrojnická street in the old town. Plants, string lights, and brick walls fill the outdoor seating area, opening into a brighter indoor room of pale wood and white walls that feels a world away from the square outside.

Coffee is roasted by Dos Mundos, poured as espresso and filter drinks alongside chai latte, fresh apple juice, and homemade lemonade. The kitchen matches it with a full case of cakes and pastries plus a daily brunch menu, and a small play corner keeps the room workable for families as well as anyone settling in with a laptop.
