Dream Up Coffee

A short walk south of Pilsen's old town on Palackého street, Dream Up Coffee swaps the usual cafe furniture for deep leather sofas, armchairs, and a couple of full bookshelves, closer to a living room than a coffee counter. Regulars settle in for a while, and the shop's dogs are as much a fixture of the place as the seating.

Coffee is handled as specialty from the start, with flat whites and other espresso drinks made to order and freshly roasted beans sold by the bag for home brewing. The kitchen turns out waffles, French toast with fresh fruit, macarons, and cheesecake to go with it, making the space as much a spot for a slow breakfast as a coffee break.
