Peixoto Coffee Roasters

Peixoto opened on Boston Street in historic downtown Chandler in 2015, founded by Julia Peixoto Peters and Jeff Peters to bring the coffee of her family farm in Minas Gerais, Brazil, to the Phoenix area. The Peixoto family has grown coffee at Boa Vista for four generations, and the cafe describes its approach as family trade, going beyond fair trade and direct trade.

The cafe pours espresso drinks and brewed coffee from the family's Brazilian lots, along with selections from other producers in Colombia, Nicaragua and beyond, and bags of freshly roasted beans, vacuum sealed and nitrogen flushed, are sold at the counter and online. The doors open at six every morning and stay open until six in the evening, within walking distance of the artisan businesses, shops and restaurants of the historic downtown.
