Pair Cupworks

Pair Cupworks is a micro roastery and coffee bar run by roaster Kimhak Em and designer Eugenia Tai, who began roasting in 2017 and opened their first coffee bar in 2020 at the back of Cider Corps, Arizona's first hard cidery, in downtown Mesa. The taproom sits quiet in the morning, so the team uses the space as a daytime cafe before the cidery opens.

The menu runs from pour overs of rotating single origin coffees and double shot espresso to hand whisked ceremonial grade matcha, loose leaf teas and house made chai, with bags of beans and brewing gear on sale. The cafe opens at seven, closing at two on weekdays through Thursday and at three from Friday to Sunday, and dogs are welcome on the patio.
