Giant Coffee

Giant Coffee began at the breakfast table of Matt's Big Breakfast, whose founders saw room for a small coffee bar of their own in the downtown arts district. The coffee is roasted locally every week in small single origin batches, so each lot arrives fresh, and the drinks stay simple: drip, pour over or espresso, made with organic milk or a plant based alternative. There is no wall of flavored syrups, only chocolate and vanilla, and the honey vanilla latte is the house favorite.

The room is bright and filled with art, with scratch pastries and handmade breakfast burritos from Matt's Big Breakfast beside the counter. It sits at 1437 North First Street, an easy walk from the galleries and murals of downtown Phoenix, and opens early every day.
