Echo Coffee

Echo Coffee is a small batch roastery and cafe on North 68th Street in south Scottsdale, started by owner Steve Belt, who has roasted on site since 2010. The cafe leans organic, with freshly roasted coffee bagged and sold alongside the drinks it serves, and its beans carry playful names such as Diesel, Chunky and Peggy, each with tasting notes of chocolate, caramel, nougat or rose.
The menu covers espresso drinks and brewed coffee with pastries on the side, and the shop opens at six every morning and closes at six in the evening, a long day that suits both an early start and an afternoon cup. One percent of every purchase goes to the Arizona Humane Society.
