Beal Beans Roasting Co.

Beal Beans began in 2018 when Blake Beal and Pashlee Grimmett started roasting coffee on the stove of their uptown Phoenix home as a hobby. The beans found a following at farmers markets and through online orders, and the couple eventually opened a brick and mortar roastery and cafe in Sunnyslope.

Coffee is roasted at the cafe and sold across the counter as drinks and as bags, with the same beans available online and at the Uptown farmers market, where the business first found its audience. The shop keeps early weekday hours, opening at half past six from Tuesday to Friday, and a shorter weekend schedule from eight until two, and it stays closed on Mondays, so it is worth checking the day before planning a stop.
