Menagerie Coffee

The Northern Liberties cafe of Menagerie Coffee sits on North 3rd Street, across from Liberty Lands Park. Menagerie began in Old City in 2013 as a small, locally operated specialty coffee shop, and this second room brings the same short menu to a residential stretch of the neighborhood, among rowhouses, galleries and restaurants.

Coffee is poured from two outside roasters, Dogwood Coffee and Elixr Coffee, as espresso drinks, batch brew and pour overs, alongside a few small eats made for the morning. The shop is an easy stop on the way through the neighborhood, opening at seven on weekdays and eight at weekends, and closing a little later on Fridays and Saturdays than on other days.
