Rokusch

Rokusch runs a coffee counter and a pizza oven out of the same small room on Rókus utca, on the edge of the old town closer to the university campus than the tourist squares. It runs as a local specialty coffee and pizza place, plain and simple, and the pairing works because neither side is an afterthought.

The roasting side has passed between a couple of operators since the cafe opened in 2018, and CrackerJack Coffee Roasters, a Pécs based roastery, currently supplies the beans and has had its head roaster working the bar here directly. Beans go home by the bag alongside the espresso and slices, and the garden style outdoor seating fills with a mix of students and regulars through the afternoon.
