Morzsa

Morzsa built its name as a bakery on Király utca before growing into a full bistro and specialty coffee counter, and the two sides still share the same open room. Croissants, sourdough loaves and rotating viennoiserie come out of the kitchen through the morning, and the coffee bar keeps pace alongside a natural wine and geuze beer list that is unusually serious for a cafe of this size.
The kitchen has held a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand listing since 2022 and two toques from Gault&Millau Hungary for 2026, recognition that a bakery led coffee spot rarely earns. Seating spills onto the pavement in good weather, and the pace stays busy enough on weekends that a short wait for a table is normal rather than a sign of anything gone wrong.
