Paris · 10th arrondissement, Canal Saint Martin
Radiodays Café

A small café on Rue Alibert, a short walk from the Canal Saint Martin and the Hôpital Saint Louis, with a slate blue counter, tall green plants, a hand lettered chalkboard and shelves of KB Coffee Roasters bags above the cups. The house coffee is roasted in Paris with KB, and the guest list that has passed through the grinder reads like a tour of European roasters, with Tim Wendelboe, The Barn, Fjord Coffee Roasters and Climpson and Sons among them.
The espresso machine is a Kees van der Westen, and Radiodays is an official partner of the maker, which tells you how seriously the bar is run for such a compact room. Cookies sit next to the coffee and beans are available to take away. It is a good stop for a considered cup in the 10th when the canal side terraces are packed, and it is open every day of the week.
