Kalve Coffee Caumartin

The brown painted front of Kalve Coffee Caumartin with KALVE in white capitals on the fascia, two wrought iron balconies above, silver framed glass doors under a teal awning and a specialty coffee poster in the window

Kalve Caumartin is the Latvian roaster's second café in Paris, in the 9th arrondissement among the shops and offices near Saint Lazare and the Opéra Garnier. The room keeps Kalve's clean, minimal look, with a counter of swirling dark stone, a large reflective panel of tree trunks behind the machine and a lit grid ceiling, and it is built for the pace of the street outside, quick to order and quick to leave without compromising on the cup.

The coffee is roasted in Riga and served as espresso, filter and matcha, with Sproud plant milk and decaf at no extra charge. Every sixth coffee is free, and bringing your own cup or refilling a Kalve bag earns a discount. There is seating at a long steel counter and low tables, and the café suits a quick stop on the way through the 9th.
