Bonjour Jacob Canal Saint Martin

A coffee house and magazine shop on Rue Yves Toudic, a street back from the Canal Saint Martin, where the walls are lined with independent magazines from around the world, from fashion and design to travel, food and art. Bonjour Jacob describes itself as a place to slow down over a good cup, find something new to read and leave with a magazine worth keeping, and it also publishes its own coffee magazine, one city per issue.

The coffee is carefully sourced specialty coffee, with the house Canal Street Roaster as the base and guest roasters from around Europe on the menu. It is open seven days a week until seven in the evening, with a start an hour later at the weekend, so it works as a reading stop on a walk along the canal or a slow Sunday morning.
