Red Door Provisions

Red Door Provisions began as a small kitchen making preserves and pickles from a farm field in Chelsea, Quebec, before it grew into a full cafe on Beechwood Avenue in New Edinburgh. The jars of jam and pickled vegetables that started the business are still stacked on shelves near the counter, alongside a seasonal menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches built around local produce.

The coffee program rotates through Canadian roasters rather than sticking to one house blend, pulling from names like Pilot Coffee Roasters out of Toronto alongside others through the year. A leafy patio out front is a popular stop for people walking dogs through the neighborhood, even though the shop asks that pets stay outside.
