Oslo — Grünerløkka
Supreme Roastworks
A small white room on Grünerløkka's main strip, built around its own roaster rather than a menu of extras. Black steel furniture, big windows, and just enough seats to make you order to go on a Saturday. Supreme roasts its own single-origins and blends on-site, and sells both by weight at the counter and through a subscription online — the kind of operation where the person pulling your shot may well have roasted the beans in it that same week. A second, newer location at Stranden 67 in Aker Brygge covers the harborside crowd, but Thorvald Meyers gate remains the original and the one locals still mean by default when they say 'Supreme.' There's no food program to speak of — this is a coffee stop, not a brunch spot — which is exactly the point for the regulars who treat it as a daily errand rather than a destination.
Dogs are explicitly welcome, water bowl included, which fits a shop more interested in function than performance. Minimalist without being cold, and industrial without trying particularly hard to look it.
