Pust

Pust fills a corner site in Majorstuen a short walk from the tram stop, run more like a shared living room than a quick coffee counter. It is one of the busier laptop spots in this part of Oslo, with enough tables inside and a run of outdoor seating under the awning that a seat is rarely impossible to find, even with students and remote workers settled in for the afternoon. Every Tuesday at half past seven in the morning the room turns into Frokostklubben, a standing breakfast club anyone can walk into alone or bring a friend along to.
Hand brew sits on the menu next to the usual espresso drinks for anyone after a slower cup, and the kitchen has built enough of a following that the team put its own recipes into a printed book, Kan jeg fa oppskriften, sold at the counter. Dogs are welcome at the tables alongside the laptops, and the pace tends to pick up fast once the morning rush from the neighborhood arrives, so early is the safer bet for a table.
