Kiosk!

Kiosk occupies a 1935 petrol station and its 1965 repair workshop in the quiet Galgeberg neighborhood, arguably the smallest coffee bar in Oslo. Founder Kari Anne Solfjeld Eid raised the renovation through neighborhood crowdfunding, ending up with around 65 local co owners rather than a single backer, and the tiny room now runs on Kaffa roastery coffee poured a few steps from where cars once idled for petrol.

Pastries come from Gladbakst, and the generous outdoor seating carved into the old forecourt does most of the work in a room too small to seat many people inside. Closed Mondays, the rest of the week keeps to a tight morning and early afternoon window built around the neighborhood's own rhythm rather than passing trade.
