Kampen Kaffe & Bar

Kampen is one of the few parts of central Oslo that still feels like a village, wooden houses and steep streets above the city, and this corner room is its local. It was Javelin before hospitality consultant Einar Kleppe Holthe rebranded it, and the furniture is deliberately mismatched, vintage chairs and tables collected rather than bought as a set.
The coffee is Fuglen's, which means a slightly rounder roast than the Oslo norm, and the room shifts into a bar as the day goes on. Worth the walk up from Tøyen for the neighbourhood as much as the cup.
