Mill Pour Coffee

The Mill Pour counter with a wooden millPour sign, retail bean bags and a framed 2015 latte art competition trophy

Mill Pour has held down a sliver of a corner in Minami Semba, a few minutes from Shinsaibashi Station, since it opened in 2010. There is room for maybe two people to sit inside, so most of the trade happens standing at the window or perched on the bench out front, coffee in one hand and whatever came off the small food menu in the other.

The shop built its name on organic, non GMO beans run through espresso rather than pour over, turning out lattes and other milk drinks alongside a seasonal cold brew in the warmer months. French toast and hot dogs round out the food side, simple enough to eat standing up, which suits a shop built around people passing through rather than settling in.
