Lobos Coffee Roasters

Lobos took over a shuttered gas station on Corrine Drive in Audubon Park, and the shape of the old building still shows through in the covered, sheltered patio out front. Tony Villalobos and Pablo Sierra met as teenagers in Miami through their local Civil Air Patrol squadron, and Tony's grandmother ran a coffee farm in Panama, an early exposure to the smell of fresh roasted beans that eventually pulled him back into the trade.

The roaster sits in plain view of the counter, pulling in green coffee from seven or more countries and turning it into the house blends and single origin pour overs on the menu, alongside a cafe con leche that keeps regulars loyal. Retail bags of the current roast go out the door daily, and the wide patio makes this one of Audubon Park's default dog walking stops.
