Sweetleaf Coffee Roasters

Sweetleaf opened in 2008 as a single small coffee bar and grew into four shops around the city, earning a reputation as one of the first NYC cafes to sell Stumptown coffee and as Queens' first dedicated pour over bar. This Jackson Avenue location roasts its own coffee, running named single origins and blends like Colombia Paola Trujillo alongside a rotating Roaster's Choice.
The bar like atmosphere is built around serious coffee prepared with precise technique and methodology, phrasing the shop has made part of its own marketing. Long Island City has grown up around it since 2008, but the counter still runs on the same exacting approach it opened with.
