Principles GI Coffee House

A concrete floored room with bicycles parked along the left wall, sofas and low tables where people read and talk, and shelves of mugs on the right

Principles GI Coffee House takes its name from the antiwar GI coffeehouses of the 1960s, and runs a pay what you want option on selected drinks. Staff are paid a living wage, and the bathroom, water and bike tools are free to anyone.

It doubles as a community hub for cyclists and hosts regular events, with rotating roasters and a pour over program behind the bar. Dogs are welcome and there is wifi.
