Partners Coffee

Childhood friends Amber Jacobsen and Adam Boyd opened this North 6th Street roastery cafe in 2012, originally as the United States license of the Australian roaster Toby's Estate before rebranding to Partners Coffee in April 2019 to reflect fully independent local ownership. The name points to the direct relationships the founders built with coffee farmers in Guatemala, Colombia and Honduras, sourcing decisions made in person rather than through a broker.
Roasting happens on site and in view of the counter, and the room has been a Williamsburg fixture for well over a decade. Partners has since opened a second nearby Williamsburg address on Bedford Avenue, this North 6th Street room remaining the original roastery and flagship.
