Obscure Coffee Roasters

Hot water poured from a black gooseneck kettle into a paper filter in a glass pour over brewer, with a second brewer blurred behind

Obscure Coffee Roasters roasts small batches of Latin American coffee, with a strong Puerto Rican focus, on a rented Loring Falcon roaster. Some of the Puerto Rican coffees are bought directly from farmers and appear as in house brews when available.

The first cafe opened in 2025 at the entrance of a Bushwick comedy club, with a small theater behind the bar. It is closed on Tuesdays.
