Mighty Oak Roasters

Mighty Oak roasts with wood. Its Astoria roastery and cafe uses a kiln dried hardwood fire, mostly from storm fallen trees within fifty miles, to add subtle aroma to the coffee without any smoky taste. The cafe sits on the corner of 24th Avenue and 28th Street, with indoor and outdoor seating, and roasting happens on site several times a week, so visitors can watch and talk with the roasters.
The menu covers coffee and tea, with macadamia, oat or soy milk for any milk drink and a single origin decaf for any espresso drink, plus Rishi matcha and loose leaf teas, Dona Chai lattes, Latin flavored pastries from Masa Madre and certified gluten free and vegan baked goods from Sans Bakery. It opens every day from half past six in the morning to seven in the evening.
