La Cabra Roastery Bushwick

The sunlit seating room at La Cabra Roastery in Bushwick with round wooden tables, oak chairs, tall plants by the window and a pale paneled wall

This is the North American home of La Cabra's roasting, set in a low industrial building on Willoughby Avenue with a tall glass garage door that opens the room to the street. Small green tables sit out front among planters, and inside the design is calm and precise: a solid oak retail structure lit by natural light, with the cafe set as a warm island apart from the working production area.

A Loring roaster stands near the entrance and is the first thing visitors see, giving a clear view of how the coffee is made. The Danish company's light, clean style is easiest to taste here, close to where the beans are roasted, and the roastery hosts tastings, talks and special releases alongside pastries and light bites. It opens every day from eight in the morning to six in the evening.
