Honey Moon Coffee Shop

Honey Moon is a former bodega space in Ridgewood that now works as a coffee shop, record store and bookshop in one, roasting its own balanced blends. Shelves of vinyl and paperbacks make it an easy place to linger over a cup, and the books are chosen on a rotating basis with the team from Molasses Books, the Brooklyn bookstore.

The team does as much as it can in house, from sourcing and roasting to designing its own bags. A front patio opens the room to Onderdonk Avenue in good weather, and the shop hosts live music on select evenings. It is the kind of local spot that gives Ridgewood's coffee scene its character, and it is open every day from eight in the morning to seven in the evening.
