Hamlet Coffee Company

Hamlet is a minimalist neighborhood coffee shop at 465 Rogers Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, opened in early 2020 just before the pandemic, with a name chosen to suggest a small village. It pours espresso drinks from a changing lineup of international and American roasters, a list that has included Three Marks, 3fe, Subtext, Tandem and Sey, alongside creative baked goods.

The street front is plain, and the pleasure is out back, where a patio and cozy garden give the shop room to spread out in warm weather. Hamlet shares its news and menu changes on Instagram, which is also the easiest way to see what is currently brewing, and it is open every day from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon.
