Compilation Coffee Roasters

Noah Jashinski built Compilation around a wine bar approach to coffee, pouring a wide, rotating spectrum of single origin coffees so customers can compare profiles side by side rather than settling for one house blend. The Fort Greene bar, set inside the AVA Fort Greene building, runs a battalion of ten grinders behind the counter, fed in part by beans roasted for the shop by longtime New York coffee figure Oren Bloostein.

The name plays on the idea of a compilation, multiple roasters and origins presented together rather than a single identity, a genuinely different premise from most neighborhood counters. The spacious, ground floor room keeps wifi and laptop seating easy to find alongside the tasting menu style coffee list.
