Shrub Coffee Nagoya is the flagship of a specialty roaster whose roastery stands in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture. The shop sits in the AREA Nayabashi Base building south of Nagoya station and keeps to coffees that follow the founding ideals of specialty coffee, tracing the cup back to the seed.

Shrub sources mainly from Nicaragua and Rwanda, including the Huye Mountain washing station founded by David Rubanzangabo in 2011. The same team also organises Brew Notes Nagoya, a one day festival that brings roasters from across Japan to the city.
