JIMLAN COFFEE

The storefront of Jimlan Coffee, with white lettering on a dark grey upper wall, a white panel with a corner window, a dark wooden door and a red brick side wall

JIMLAN COFFEE sits out in Isshiki on the west side of the city, a place coffee drinkers travel to rather than pass by. Clean specialty lots from farms around the world are roasted, rested and then ground and poured with care, in a room built for slowing down, with soft chairs, quiet music and a vintage JBL Harkness speaker from around 1960.

The cafe opens Wednesday to Sunday, from eleven in the morning until six in the evening. Beans are sold in person and online, from Geisha and anaerobic Ethiopian lots to blends, along with drip bags, cold brew packs and gift sets, and the roastery also supplies other cafes.
