coffee Kajita

The weathered blue grey steel sign for coffee Kajita, its white lettering flecked with rust, with leaves of a hedge beside it

coffee Kajita opened in 2004 on a residential corner of Issha and roasts all of its own coffee on a direct fire Fuji Royal roaster. The cafe area is small and every cup is poured by hand, one at a time, with house baked cakes and sweets made to sit alongside it.

The shop keeps limited days, open Saturday, Sunday and Monday, because roasting and bean orders take up the rest of the week. Beans are sold at the counter, and gift boxes pair them with baked sweets.
