Shaughnessy Café

Shaughnessy Café opened in October 2016 on the corner of Lambert-Closse and de Maisonneuve, in the student heart of Shaughnessy Village near Atwater metro and Dawson College. The idea was a laid back neighborhood room where students, teachers, and residents all feel welcome to linger, study, or grab a coffee to go.

The bar is a multi roaster counter, pouring the house Shaughnessy beans alongside coffees from several other excellent roasters, with the bar menu rotating often and the retail shelves offering plenty of fresh bags to take home. Bay windows pour light over plants and local art, a small patio opens in summer, and the beans travel in home compostable bags as part of the team's care for the environment. Discovery is the goal, so come taste something new.
