Dreamy

Dreamy is the public face of the Canadian Roasting Society, the shared roastery that opened in Saint-Henri in 2018 so Montreal micro roasters could share space and equipment. Tucked inside that big industrial room a few steps from the Lachine Canal, the little cafe lets visitors sip third wave coffee while the roasting team works just beside them.

The flagship treat is a Southern style biscuit served with cream and jam, a perfect companion to a freshly brewed cup. Dreamy calls itself a biscuit shop and coffee supermarket, with shelves of bags from the roasters that work under the same roof, and it opens its doors from 8am to 5pm every day of the year, holidays included, which makes it an easy stop on a canal ride.
