Café Saint-Henri Micro-Torréfacteur

Café Saint-Henri started as a single espresso counter in the Saint-Henri neighborhood in 2009 and has since grown into one of Montréal's more established micro roasters, with this Mile-Ex address now serving as its headquarters and main roasting facility. The team works directly with producers across South America, rotating through seasonal single origin lots from Peru, Colombia, and Brazil alongside a small permanent lineup built for both espresso and filter brewing.
The Mile-Ex space is bright and unusually spacious for a Montréal cafe, with enough room that laptop workers and pastry runs coexist without much friction. Beans are sold by the bag at the counter and online, and the shop also runs a coffee subscription and occasional brewing workshops for anyone who wants to go beyond ordering a cappuccino. It draws a steady mix of neighborhood regulars and coffee visitors making the trip specifically for the roastery.
