SK Coffee Whittier

SK Coffee's Whittier shop sits on the corner of Lyndale Avenue and 24th Street, a calm, Nordic minimal room of about 900 square feet that seats roughly thirty. It was built around one idea, that pour overs come before everything else on the menu.

The coffee is entirely single origin, mostly microlots and often single variety lots, brewed as V60 pour overs in Yama glassware or pulled on a Slayer Steam espresso machine, with a batch brewer for quicker cups. There are two milk options and no caramel or vanilla syrups. Pastries change with the season. It opens at 7:30 on weekdays and at eight on weekends, closing at five except on Sunday, when it closes at four.
