Corner Coffee North Loop

Corner Coffee has been on this block since 2007, and the company calls it the original corner, a neighborhood cafe that was here before the warehouse district became known as the North Loop. The space used to be Montana Coffeehouse, and a mural painted by that cafe's original owner, Johnny, remains on the wall behind the counter.
The company favors light roasts, which it believes show the full flavor of each coffee it buys, and the counter pours them next to signature and seasonal drinks and a menu of breakfast and lunch plates. There is comfortable seating, a free kids' space for families and online ordering ahead. The cafe is open from seven to five on weekdays and from eight to five on Saturday, and it is closed on Sunday.
