Sevengrams (Coffee Studio 7Gr)

Founded in 2009 by four sisters in Milan's former industrial Tortona/Solari design district, Sevengrams operates less like a cafe and more like a coffee studio in the literal sense: retail counter, in house micro roastery ('Lot Zero'), tasting bar, and SCA certified training courses all under one roof. It's one of Milan's more education focused specialty coffee operations, built for people who want to learn the craft, not just drink the result.

A second, newer Coffee Studio location on Corso Venezia extends the format elsewhere in the city, but Via Valparaiso remains the original. Open weekdays only, closed entirely on weekends, an unusual schedule for a cafe, but a logical one for a space built around courses and trade visits as much as retail.
