Cortinovis Coffee Roasters

The Cortinovis Coffee Roasters counter with a silver espresso machine and chalkboard menu beneath a wooden Specialty Coffee sign

Cortinovis began as a family gelateria and pastry shop in Porta Vittoria, and in 2023 Carlo Cortinovis steered the business toward coffee, installing a six kilo Giesen roaster and committing to specialty grade beans only. The change was gradual: customers raised on conventional blends were eased toward cleaner, lighter roasts without extreme profiles, and the house espresso blend now sits beside a rotating run of single origins from Africa and Latin America.

The room on Via Giovanni Cena keeps its Italian bar character, with a counter, bar seating added so filter coffee could join the espresso menu, and croissants as the main attraction next to the cups. It is a short, friendly stop rather than a place to settle in for hours, and a good one for asking questions about what is roasted that week and how to brew it at home.
