Cafezal Magenta

A compact room on Corso Magenta fitted out in the manner of a 1920s coffee house: a geometric floor in red and black, dark wood panelling, a mezzanine gallery reached by a small iron stair, and sacks of green coffee stacked along the upper shelves. The decor looks backwards, but the coffee does not, with Cafezal's own roasts served as espresso and milk drinks.
Cafezal roasts its coffee at the Coffee Hub on Viale Premuda and brings the same selection here, where the day starts with breakfast and carries on through a light lunch. The hours are early and end in the late afternoon, a little later at weekends, so this is a place for the first coffee or the midday pause rather than the evening.
