Cumbé Coffee Roasters

Cumbé is a Melbourne inspired bar that serves Mexican coffee. The name is an African word for a hill and for a celebration, and the team treats coffee as both: they roast their own beans, build partnerships with small and mid sized growers who look after their ecosystems, and pack the coffee in biodegradable packaging.
The Monterrey bar is a warm, compact room of exposed brick, plants and a La Marzocco machine, serving lattes and cappuccinos as well as filter coffee on Chemex or Kalita, with artisan breads alongside. Beans are sold and ground to order, and the roastery lab in San Rafael, Cumbé La Tostadora, hosts brewing courses and tastings.
