BUNA La Tostadora

Sunlit hall inside BUNA La Tostadora in a former textile factory, wooden tables and woven chairs among tall plants beside steel framed windows, with a shelf of books and framed prints

BUNA roasts Mexican specialty coffee with a mission to protect ecosystems, working with farmers on natural growing practices and sharing coffee, chocolate and honey from those partnerships. La Tostadora is where the green beans arrive to be checked, cupped and roasted, set inside Laguna, a former textile factory in Doctores.

The cafe is a bright, plant filled hall of concrete floors, steel framed windows and long wooden tables, made for opening a laptop, reading a book or settling in for the afternoon. Workshops and talks run in the space, so there is often a reason to stay a little longer.
