Project Zero Coffee Flinders St

Project Zero's Flinders Street shop puts the roaster's coffee on Flinders Street in the heart of the CBD, with later weekend hours than its sibling on King Street. The business started with the idea of making higher levels of coffee more convenient, varied and accessible, and its founder previously ran Sub Zero Coffee, a temporary cafe that served rare coffees out of a freezer.
Beans are roasted in Melbourne and shipped every Wednesday, split into espresso and filter ranges, with a Kaleidoscope house blend and limited releases whose names borrow from desserts and cocktails. Weekday service runs from seven in the morning until three in the afternoon, and at weekends the doors open from ten until six, so it works for a late afternoon cup as well as a morning one.
