Acoffee

Acoffee turned an old Collingwood garage into a gleaming white roastery and showroom, with a long bench running through the middle, the roaster in plain view and stools along the espresso bar. The coffee is roasted lighter than is typical, aiming for clarity, subtlety and brightness, and the pour over menu rotates through single origins from countries such as Colombia, Rwanda and Kenya.
The cafe opened in 2017 after founder Byoung Woo Kang, a former Market Lane roaster and Australian cup tasting champion, began supplying Melbourne cafes with his beans. Acoffee also has a second showroom in Seoul, and the Sackville Street space keeps its focus on coffee with a short list of drinks and boxed seasonal beans to take home.
