Marseille · Le Panier
7VB Café

7VB sits at the bottom of Le Panier, Marseille's oldest quarter, in a narrow room on Rue Caisserie a short walk from the Vieux Port. The name is shorthand for cette vie est belle, this life is beautiful, and the space leans into it with plants crowding every shelf and windowsill and jazz running low in the background.
Espresso and filter both get equal attention here, alongside a menu built around the shop's cinnamon rolls, a fixture regulars come back for as much as the coffee itself. Quiches and sandwiches cover lunch, and a small area for kids makes it one of the few specialty spots in the Panier set up for families as much as laptop regulars.
