ManCoCo

Shelves of black and gold coffee tins labelled with single origin coffees and prices, with a scale and paper bags of beans below at ManCoCo

ManCoCo hand roasts speciality grade coffee in small batches under the railway arches of Hewitt Street, between HOME and the Castlefield Gallery and a short walk from Deansgate station. Every green coffee comes from an identifiable single origin farm, estate or small cooperative, and the range spans the Americas, Africa and Asia Pacific alongside the house Manchester blend.

The roastery fills one arch and the coffee bar the next, with wooden tables, artwork on the walls and a counter lined with tins of the current beans. Whole beans are sold by the bag over the counter and online, and the team also teaches brewing, espresso and latte art classes through its Coffee Academy.
