Idle Hands

Idle Hands has no house roaster by design. Instead the espresso machine and the brew bar showcase a constantly rotating lineup of speciality roasters from around the world, with a few choices on espresso at any time and filter coffees on pour over. It began as a pop up beside Piccadilly Station in 2015 and found its permanent home on Dale Street in the Northern Quarter, where the shelves are lined with bags and brewers from guest roasters.
The coffee is matched with a daily counter of sweet pies, including vegan options, plus a kitchen serving brunch, natural wine and craft beer. The team treats coffee as a conversation worth having and welcomes anyone who enjoys discussing and exploring it.
