Allpress Espresso

Allpress opened this northern flagship in the Redfern Building at NOMA in 2024, after ten years supporting its northern partners from the railway arches of Sheffield Street. The roastery and cafe is the brand's northernmost outpost, a light filled room of oak joinery and the building's original steel windows, designed by Deidra Hodgson, with a barista training hub and a coffee machinery workshop under the same roof.

Allpress roasts its coffee with a hot air method for sweet, clean and consistent flavour, and the counter pours blends and single origins that score 83 points or higher on the Speciality Coffee Association scale. Beyond the daily coffee, the space doubles as a community hub, with run clubs, natural wine tastings and Sip Sessions announced through the cafe's Instagram.
