Nordic Brew Lab

Håkan Sävlind, who also runs the well known Stockholm cafe Café Pascal, opened Nordic Brew Lab's Malmö store with Pierre Tymms in 2025, built around the idea of making competition level brewing accessible outside the barista competition circuit itself. A curated retail wall rotates through global roasters on a near weekly basis, recent names have included Swerl, Mellow, Subtext, Scenery, and Goût & Co, alongside a gear section stocking Acaia, Fellow, Hario, and xBloom.

The centerpiece is an Experience Bar pouring from Reserve and Rare plus Exclusive menus, with a dedicated Competition Coffee Experience tasting session that runs on the same equipment and methods used on the competition stage. As the newest of Malmö's specialty shops, it leans on founder pedigree and early trade coverage more than years of local track record.
