Slow Café

Slow Café occupies a former screen printing workshop on Calle del Mediodía Grande in La Latina, and the industrial bones are still there, softened with exposed wood, recycled furniture, plants and plenty of daylight. The motto is Slow, taste better, and the room is built around taking your time, with no rushed takeaway culture and with the music and service tuned to match.
Baristas work with carefully selected specialty coffee and serve it as espresso, cappuccino and filter, either V60 or batch brew, so the character of each origin comes through. The crowd mixes neighbours, solo readers, couples and a few remote workers, and the room stays calm enough for both conversation and concentration. It opens every day from nine, closing in the late afternoon on Mondays, Tuesdays and weekends.
